For Jeanette Levellie of Paris, Illinois, this has been a year of happy changes. Her daughter and grand kids moving nearby, adopting Wally, the ornery but lovable kitten, and writing for Guideposts.
Jeanette’s goal in life is to introduce a million people to Jesus. Apart from that, she’d like to invent a house that never needs cleaning and surround herself with trees.
This spunky redhead lived most of her life in California, and spent her freshman year of high school on the tiny island of Saipan, near Guam. As a teenager, she aspired to sing opera and took three years of formal voice training. When God brought Pastor Kevin into Jeanette’s life, her dreams enlarged.
As a former history teacher and newspaper columnist, Jeanette is the author of five books and hundreds of articles, stories, and greeting card verses. A popular humor/inspirational speaker, she offers her unique blend of laughter and encouragement to audiences of every flavor and size.
When Jeanette isn’t preparing messages or writing, she enjoys gardening, watching black and white movies with Kevin, and discovering new restaurants. She is the mother of two, grandma of three, and servant of three (cats).
